I have had an Excaliber Phoenix Crossbow for two years now and I could not be any more pleased. I have taken 2 deer, 1 elk, 3 bears, 6 wild bore (pigs) and a wild turkey and I am more than satisfied with it's performance. I advise anyone buying one to get the rope cocking aid as these bows are powerful and it takes some level of strength to cock them. More importantly however, the cocking aid ensures the crossbow is cocked perfectly straight and even every time and that ensures high end accuracy. These are fun to target shoot with and a great crossbow for hunting. I also recommend the Excalibur scope and with the right Firebolt arrows and Boltcutter Broadheads you can feel comfortable shooting out to 50 yards.

Bought the Equonix crossbow this fall. Took it home, sighted in, and took it to the field. First time out in the woods an 8-point buck deer came within 30 yards and the bow scored for me. The quality of the Equonix crossbow is superb, the customer service (Excalibur Equonix) is superb, and the way the crossbow shoots is great. You will not be disappointed in this Equonix crossbow.

This Phoenix crossbow is very accurate. I was hitting 3 and a half inch circles at 50 yrds.It was very strong and all around the perfect crossbow in my eyes.

I bought the Exomax last summer and spent a few months getting used to shooting it. I never shot a Exomax crossbow until this one but due to shoulder injuries, if I wanted to continue to bowhunt, this is all I can do. I also used the Crankaroo cocking device on my Exomax due to the shoulder problems and would recommend that as well. For sights I put the low-light scope on. It hits hard and fast with the Firebolt arrows and Boltcutter broadheads more accurate than I would have ever imagined, and is easy to set up and use. I got one deer and four wild boar hog and also one Alligator

I bought the Exomax crossbow before the season started being both nervous and excited since I had never owned any type of bow before. After ordering the Exomax package I couldn't be more pleased after taking advice from several friends who own Excaliburs. My new favorite is the Excalibur Exomax cross bow. Compared to my compound, it is superior in every way except sound! I am very happy to group 6 inches at 50 yards with my compound.... that is I was very happy to do so, until I shot several groups that were touching and less than 2 inches at 20 yards and one 4 inch group at 50(supported rest) with my new Exomax! After just 2 hours with it, I am sure that I will use it all year including shotgun season. I have that much confidence in the Exomax. Oh yeah.... the 4 inch group at 50 yards was shot using the special dial-a-speed scope that came with the kit. I zeroed in at 20 and then moved back to 50. My group was only about 3 inches low at 50! what a great scope! The Exomax crossbow exceeded every claim that Excalibur made! I want to thank Excalibur for developing such a superior product!

After trying my friends Equinox and seeing how accurite the bow is i'm really deciding on getting an Equinox for myself. at 40 yds I shot six bolts and was dead center on all 6 shots ammazing. i would highly recommend the Equinox bow for anyone weather a beginer or expert bow hunter.

Moved to a state which allows crossbows. No previous experience with them, but this Vortex crossbow was accurate right out of the box. Dropped an 8 pt deer on my first shot using the Firebolt bolts / arrows and Boltcutter broadheads in the field, sights dead on at 35 yds. Very pleased with this purchase.

I recieved my "Axiom crossbow" and it took only 15 min. to put it together. My buddy came over to help me sight it in, I had never used a vary zone scope before. It was right on the money, out of the box we didn't have to make any adjustments.I shot it three times and on the second shot it was dead center. I can't wait to get in the woods and go deer hunting and then later do a little Elk hunting.

I have been looking at cross bows for about 7 months and shooting many types. By far the Equinox has the best trigger out of any bow. The first time shooting it I had a little trouble sighting it in. (It was to windy out) There was no wind today so i got it out and gave it a try again. WOW six arrows within a fifty cent piece and stuck two arrows together. You can't ask for anything better than that.

I have been researching crossbows for the last year. Have read numerous articles and spoke with many deer hunters about likes and dislikes of all brands. I finally decided on the Equinox for quality, layout and price. Out of the box the scope was off about 3inches to the right. Once dialed in I was able to consistently group 6 arrows within a 3inch grouping at 50 yds. I was planning on upgrading the scope. But after use the standard scope with the package is great. By far the quality of this package outshines anything close to this price. I would highly recommend this package for anyone who is new to crossbows.
