Great evening at the front porch
January 13 – Meet at the Front Porch at 115 E. Fourth Street for free food, fun and fellowship in a worshipful atmosphere at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 13 in Pratt. Led by the worship team at Abundant Harvest Church of the Nazarene. Supper at 6.30 p.m. followed by worship at 7 a.m. All are welcome.
Join a slimming jackpot
Until April 15th – Balloons and More is running a Biggest Loser (jackpot) contest starting January 3rd (although you can enter anytime in January) and ending Friday April 15th. Enter for $ 20, up to three places can be won, depending on how many to enter. The winners will be earned by the percentage lost, not the pounds. Weigh in Balloons and More from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., Monday to Friday or Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Come all for some pancakes and sausages
January 15th – St. Paul Lutheran Laymen’s Leauge in rural Preston is hosting a pancake and sausage meal, by voluntary donation, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday January 15, the location is 5 1/2 miles au northeast of Pratt along US Highway 61.
Last chance for Sonic cards
January 17 – Don’t wait until the last Sonic gift card sale date Monday to participate in a great fundraiser for the Pratt Student Council because they are supporting the local Hope Center. Email [email protected] for information on purchasing $ 5 Sonic Cards, all proceeds will go to Hope Center. Students at the local student council are hoping to reach their goal of raising $ 2,500 with this fundraiser, but they need the community’s help.
Donate in memory of Betty White
January 17 – The Pratt Area Humane Society is participating in a national event for Betty White’s birthday and accepting donations of any amount, but announced $ 5 memorials, in celebration of what would have been the 100th White’s birthday, January 17th. White passed away on December 31, 2021 but is remembered for being a longtime supporter of animal shelters.
Free archery workshop planned
24 january – Blythe Family Fitness and the Kansas Dept. of Wildlife and Parks will be hosting a free archery workshop for the public from 6 pm to 8 pm on January 17th at the Blythe Center, 219 W.
